The writing and transcription of radiology reports consume significant time in image diagnostics. With the use of Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI and Speech-to-Text AI), it is possible to transcribe radiologists’ audio, automatically structure reports, and extract pathological information from exams. This accelerates the diagnostic process and enriches the database for future analysis.
The Solution
Avenue Code collaborated with VX Med from capturing and streaming
dictated audio from radiologists’ image exams to transcribing it using
the Speech-to-Text API with fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and
developing Generative AI functions/endpoints in Cloud Functions.
The Results
The solution increased productivity by enabling doctors to review automatically generated reports. It also enriched the exam database with pathological information to support diagnoses and train ML/AI models, enabling advanced analyses and new functionalities.
