Project Manager
Passionate about project management, Ademir has been working in the field since 2008. Since 2018, he has been leading PMOs, building standards and processes, and has managed a portfolio of over 50 million reais! As a professor and lifelong learner, he loves sharing knowledge and inspiring other professionals. Project Manager by day, dad and gamer by night! He loves building efficient PMOs.
Carlos Ortega
Agile Specialist
Carlos is a tech-savvy enthusiast passionate about disrupting the current status quo and enabling teams to perform at their peak. Working with IT over the past 17 years, 11 of which are in the project management area, Carlos has worked on several IT projects and loves working with people. Currently, he works at the Avenue Code's PMO Team as an agility mentor.
Drew King
Technical Manager, Agile Coach, Scrum Master
Four-and-a-half years at Avenue Code coupled with having worked in the world known as Agile for over a decade, it’s allowed him to work in various industries from Healthcare, Insurance, Finance and the list goes on. He loves that he gets to onboard new Avenue Coders, as well as being an Alpha Quester for Tech Interviews. His passion, however, lies with having the opportunity to mentor those around him be it a direct report or someone at his client. He loves helping people grow, learn new things, etc., so they can achieve their career goals they might not have known how to start to get there.

A Generalist Data Scientist with over 5 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, currently working focused on Generative AI. Skilled in applying Machine Learning and Analytics to business problems. Highly interested in the intersection of Data Science and Software Development. As an Engineer, he loves to build.

José is curious and passionate about design as a way to humanize technology. He has been building digital products for the past ten years in collaboration with a diverse set of professionals and areas. In the meantime, he is a PC gamer and longboard surfer.
Lucas Guimarães
Scrum Master
Passionate about technology since he was a teenager, Lucas works closely with users, clients, and stakeholders to uncover problems that can be solved with digital solutions. With a blend of hands-on experience and agile methodologies, he has worked in the energy, healthcare, urban mobility, commodities, and steel sectors. He enjoys working as a Product Manager, following the methods and studies of authors like Dan Olsen and Marty Cagan. And finally, you might also find him cycling, swimming, or in the middle of a samba circle.
Marcia Furtado
Change Management
Marcia is all about Change Management and has a solid background in commercial, marketing, and product roles. She recently got into the world of Change Management and is diving right in, loving the practices, dynamics, and challenges it brings. Transformation is what drives her, and she calls herself a 'walking metamorphosis.' At Avenue Code, she's not only a consultant for a client but also involved in Crossroads initiatives like the Generational Group and is an L3+ Buddy. Outside of work, you’ll find her reading, traveling, playing sports, hanging out with her pets, and spending time with her kids and friends. She's also a rock and roll and tattoo lover.
Nadja Xavier
Product Manager
IT enthusiast working in the area for almost 25 years, building products and delivering projects, with diverse experience spanning Product Management, Pre-sales Consulting, Project Management, Product Analysis, and UX/UI Design. Always willing to learn different things, from Data Engineering and Python coding to vegan cooking or German language. Opening bugs at Avenue Code since 2022, she is passionate about the agility area, challenges, and promoting a collaborative environment. She adores change because "it's fun to do the impossible" - Walt Disney, and she wants to spread the culture of quality in the world around her.
Rafael Claro
Agile Specialist
Creative and enthusiastic about innovation, automation, lean and agile. Acting as a transforming agent in promoting the agile culture. +10 years working with IT and the last 5 years dedicated to Agile and Project Management. Outside Avenue Code he likes to go to the Gym, travel, listen to classic rock 'n roll and he loves coffee.

Rafael is a Senior Agile Coach passionate about transforming teams using Agile methodologies. When he's not championing transparency, inspection and adaptation, you'll find him spending quality time with his lovely family on epic adventures or at home in his next great video game quest. A travel enthusiast and gaming aficionado, Rafael seeks to balance sprint goals with life goals — always leveling up both his projects and personal life. If you need an Agile Coach who’s as dedicated to his craft as he is to unlocking achievements, you’ve found him!

With a solid 16-year track record working in technology, his passion lies in Product Management. Since the beginning of his journey, he has had the privilege of being involved in developing a series of innovative products that have served a wide range of market sectors. Over these years, he has accumulated extensive experience in leadership, stakeholder management, metrics, strategic analysis, and the planning and execution of complex technology solutions.
Rui Junior
QA Tech Lead
Rui is a professional with solid experience in software quality and development, having worked for more than a decade with teams at different levels of maturity in companies from various industries. An Avenue Code partner for 3 years, he works as a QA Tech Lead at POD Michigan, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, the adoption of good practices, and the implementation of test automation frameworks at one of the main clients in the automotive sector.
Victor Ferreira
PMO Scrum Master
Victor has a degree in Computer Engineering and Logistics and a specialization in Project Management (MBA) and Software Engineering with Agile Methodologies. He has over 20 years of experience in IT in different layers, such as Software Development, Infrastructure (Virtualization), and Agility. He was a Scrum Master/Agile Master in projects such as Primary Fuel Distribution (Marine and Oil Pipelines) (ExxonMobil), OpenBanking Brasil (MasterCard), and OutSystems Solutions Development (Petrobras). Today, he works as PMO at Avenue Code. Father of Thomas, husband of Fernanda, and passionate about Heavy Metal.
Wender Martins
Scrum Master
Wender is 32 years old, lives in Belo Horizonte, and is married to Camila. He has been working in the IT industry since 2012 because he has always loved technology and how it can help people's lives. In 2013, he came into contact with agile methodologies and found them fascinating! He joined Avenue Code in 2020 as a QA but always wanted to experience what it's like to work with Agile. That same year, he moved to the long-awaited position of Scrum Master. He is currently in another Agile role as a Product Owner.
